ETM Teaching Artists Convene for March Training Session

    On March 15, ETM teaching artists and interns gathered for the final formal training of the 2007-08 academic year.  During the training, ETM program staff and teaching artists shared their goals for all students for the remainder of the year.  In addition, a guest speaker, Ms. Linda Davis, a member of the Music Educators National Conference, and a certified instructor of the Orff and Suzuki methods, presented ideas for lessons involving student listening, since teaching students in a relevant, engaging way is one of the most important challenges that a teacher faces.  Monthly observations and mentoring will continue through June.
