POSITION SUMMARY:

Manages core financial, administrative and human resources functions, at the direction of the Director of Operations and the Executive Director.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Work with Director of Operations to develop, document, and implement financial control and reporting systems
  • Support on budgeting, bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, annual audit, Board communications and reporting, grant accounting, and payroll
  • Provide clerical support in human resources and assist with office management
  • Contribute initiative and leadership in developing new policies and procedures to improve management efficiency.
  • Provide general support as assigned by Director of Operations or Executive Director
Position has growth potential for non-profit management career-minded individuals. Benefits include health insurance and pre-tax benefits including 403(b) retirement savings plan and Section 125 Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account. Position ideally starts in mid-June.

 

Qualifications:

Education- Bachelor’s degree

Relevant Experience- Bookkeeping/accounting, office management, nonprofit management

Core Software Applications- Quickbooks Pro, Excel

Other important skills- Interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, multi-tasking, computer literacy, problem solving, math skills
